The Italian Wine Club was formed in 1999 to bring to a
wider public some of the outstanding small and
medium-sized Italian wine makers who, in our opinion,
make this one of the most interesting wine producing
countries in the world.
Those already familiar with the delights of Barbera,
Dolcetto, Verdicchio and Amarone will find that we have
carefully selected wines which represent remarkable
quality and value for money. For those for whom
Italian wine is a new adventure, we provide detailed
information on the grape, the maker and most importantly
how best to enjoy it, either on its own or with food.
We maintain a small list on which every maker, wine and
vintage has to prove its worth.
We are small enthusiasts, and we do not make our main
living from the sale of these wines. Instead, we
want to share our enthusiasm and finds with others.
Because of this, we readily point out that you may wait
a few days longer than from some large corporate
venture, but we think you'll find it will be worth it.
With us there will only ever be a list of outstanding
wines available. |
